Missions
When Jesus ascended to heaven, he told his disciples to go and make disciples. Essentially, he told his disciples to go live like he lived... everywhere. The disciples waited to be empowered by the Holy Spirit, and they went. Out of their going, the church was born. A couple of thousand years later, Jesus' disciples are still following his mission and mandate: to go and make disciples.
At Grace the way that plays out is by sending short- and long-term missionaires all over the world and committing to pray, give and go ourselves. We want to provide opportunities for everyone involved in our community to be involved in missions in some context, whether it's in our own neighborhood or half way around the world. We believe missional living is the best way to live.
